Join us on Oct. 26th at the DSC campus for a Dia de los Muertos celebration! 💀🌼
This event will include a sugar Skull workshop that celebrates Mexican traditions and honors our loved ones who have passed away. Together, we will commemorate their lives and celebrate our community.
This event is hosted by DSC Español but is open to ALL families, Spanish speaking or not!
Medical Mingle
DSC Medical Mingle
Join us at the DSC Campus for Medical Mingle with Dr. Rebecca Partridge, MD. This casual gathering offers families and caregivers the chance to connect, ask questions, and discuss all things Down syndrome. Dr. Partridge will lead an informal group conversation, making space for learning, sharing, and supporting one another.

Event Title: Independent Living Webinar

Event Description: The DSC Advocacy Board presents a webinar on Independent Living. This event will provide valuable information about independent living for adults with disabilities, featuring personal stories from the Board’s self advocates, speakers from the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) and the Arc of King County, and helpful resources to navigate the independent living journey. This webinar is appropriate for anyone interested in learning more about independent living, including individuals with Down syndrome as well as family members/caregivers.
*Registration by donation is appreciated but not required.
Funds raised will help send our Advocacy Board to the National Down Syndrome Advocacy Conference in 2025!
The Advocacy Board is raising funds to attend the National Down Syndrome Advocacy Conference in 2025, where Board members will continue to sharpen their self-advocacy skills, learn about legislative priorities relevant to Down syndrome, and meet with their representatives in congress. All funds collected from webinar attendance will be used to support Board members attending the conference.

We are hosting an Open House!

Adults Summer Camp
This camp is offered to individuals with Down syndrome aged 18+ years. The goal of the camp is to create social opportunities and increase access and engagement in the community setting.
July 8th-12th or August 12th-16th
This Camp is now FULL.

Bilingual Summer Camp- Creative Circles with Rocio
Join us for these four days of Spanish Immersion Camp (drop off) available to DSC community members and typical developing siblings/friends!
Dates:
July 22nd-25th (4-11 years old) or August 5th-8th (6-14 years old)
Time: 10:00-1:00 pm
Please pack a lunch and wear comfortable clothes
Each day, participants will be immersed in Spanish through songs, story times, art, cooking projects, yoga, and a science experiment! No Spanish knowledge is required to participate.
Creative Circles with Rocio aims to support children's social-emotional and language development through educational enrichment activities; our sessions are intended for social interactions, connections, breaks, and fun!
Children of all potty-training abilities are welcome. We will have time for potty breaks and visuals to support potty-training language communication.

Open Arms, Open Doors
A space for caregivers/families that would like to meet with other families that “get it”. The hope is to:

A DSC Adult social event hosted at the Seattle art studio of local artist Catherine Mayer!
Catherine will lead participants in a group painting activity where they will create a mural and talk about colors, patterns, composition, and more. There will be music and dance for added fun!
