Family Consultation

Work individually with a licensed provider to best meet the needs of your child.

Family Consultation

Your Partner in Supporting your Child.

Our Family Consultation program provides guidance and tools specifically for parents, guardians, and caregivers of individuals with Down syndrome. You decide on the goals you want to achieve, then work with licensed specialists to develop practical skills and strategies that you can use to support your child’s unique needs.

Key Features:

· Work 1:1 with a Licensed Expert

Each session pairs you with a qualified professional, like a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, Special Education teacher, Speech-Language Pathologist, or Occupational Therapist, ensuring that you receive the highest level of expertise tailored to your child’s needs.

· Designed Exclusively for Families

This program focuses solely on parents, family members, and caregivers—not direct service to children. It helps you develop skills you can use to work with your child.

· Flexible Scheduling Options

Attend sessions in person at DSC’s building or virtually via Microsoft Teams, so you can choose the option that best fits your family’s schedule and needs.
