About:
A supportive group for parents of young children with Down syndrome to connect, share experiences, and learn about developmental milestones in social-emotional and language skills. The group aims to foster parent connections and provide opportunities for children to interact with their peers in a nurturing, playful environment.
6-week series of 45 minute group sessions.
Each week has a learning focus, plenty of opportunities for play, and will include useful strategies to take home to support your little one’s development at home.
Schedule:
Sessions will be held at the DSC Campus on Saturdays, from 10am-10:45am.

Our group will employ principles of the D.I.R. Floortime approach, focusing on early developmental capacities, relationships, and individual differences.
Week 1, 1/18: Regulation and Sharing Attention
Week 2, 2/1: Engaging and Relating
Week 3, 2/8: Purposeful Communication
Week 4, 3/1: Back-and-forth Interactions and Sequencing
Week 5, 3/8: Early Language
Week 6, 3/22: Putting it All Together!
Cost & Registration:
There is a one-time fee of $150 which includes all 6 group sessions.
